MASTERING SEXUAL ENERGY Sexual energy is not merely desire. It is the primordial current—the same force that splits atoms, turns seasons, and births galaxies. In the hidden traditions it is called ojas, kundalini, the living fire of the alchemists, the coiled serpent asleep at the base of the spine. Most people spend it unconsciously. The mystic learns to harvest it. When the energy is scattered through compulsion, it becomes heat that burns the vessel. When it is held, circulated, and refined, it becomes light. The practice is not suppression and it is not indulgence. It is transmutation. Feel the pulse at the root. Do not chase the wave outward. Draw it upward through the inner channels—along the spine, through the heart, into the crown. Breath is the bellows. Awareness is the crucible. Stillness is the philosopher’s stone. In that stillness the raw fire changes its nature: from hunger into presence, from craving into radiance, from fragmentation into unity. The ancient texts speak of the sacred marriage—sun and moon, Shiva and Shakti, the two currents that must meet without leaking. When they unite in the heart, a third thing is born: a luminous body that does not belong to time. This is the secret of the mystics who walk among us looking ordinary while carrying an inner sun. Mastery is not achieved by force. It is achieved by reverence. Treat the energy as a living intelligence, not a resource to be exploited. Offer it upward. Let it teach you. In time the same current that once pulled you toward another body will pull you toward the Infinite. The fire remains. Only its direction has changed.
