Today, Thursday July 12, Solar Eclipse in Cancer (20º41') at 7:48 PM PDT!
Eclipses
always mark major turning points in our destinies, beyond which life
will never quite be the same. What happens on an eclipse day is fraught
with significance and generally irreversible.
This particular event is exceptionally followed not by one, but by two more eclipses, respectively on July 27 (4º45' Aquarius) and August 11 (18º42' Leo),
creating a special cosmic portal beginning today and ending in a month.
Our feelings, thoughts and actions are greatly amplified during this
period. These are wonderful times to perform ceremonies, sit in
meditation and pray for peace.
The Leo/Cancer-Aquarius axis
requires of us, both individually and globally, to find a balance
between the personal and the collective, our hearts and our minds,
technology and spirit. We may feel the need to get closer to our
spiritual family, safety and security issues come to the forefront, and
while feeling concerned by the challenges faced by humanity at large, we
are drawn to expressing our uniqueness in a creative way.
Occurring on a 21 day (7+1+2+2+0+1+8),
this eclipse points in Chaldean numerology to victory over earlier
trials, and successes earned after a long initiation. The idea of
elevation and honors given to those who have kept growing spiritually,
is further supported by the Sabian symbol associated to 22º Cancer:
"A famous singer is proving her virtuosity during an operatic
performance". Genius is the result of talent backed by discipline, hard
work and persistence.
At
this time, it is essential that we collaborate with others and
elegantly adapt to circumstances without compromising our integrity. If
our endeavors benefit all, they will progress exponentially. Our power
is being tested, as are our honesty, courage, dignity and respect of
differences. Our sensitivity to vibrations, loud noise and crowds is
heightened. An event from the past could resurface, making us reconsider
it in a new light.
A beautiful Water Grand Trine between the Sun Conjunct the Moon, Jupiter and Neptune
indicates the need to dream big dreams with compassion, good will,
tolerance, peace and hospitality. Visions are particularly clear and
insightful. Artists could feel greatly inspired. A financial project or
legal matter could now come to fruition.
If
we have felt the need to change jobs, move or transform our domestic
circumstances, now is the time to make that transition. The meaning of
unexpected situations which seem to separate us from all that we knew
and were used to, will become clearer in time.
Money invested in a project that benefits many, brings further abundance.
This
eclipse is making us cross the bridge from the old to the new. Times of
passage are always difficult, yet bring tremendous blessings to those
who have the courage of their beliefs, are persistent in the face of
adversity and walk with integrity while trusting life's benevolence.
