A new study by researchers in Wisconsin, Spain, and France reports the first evidence of specific molecular changes in the body following a period of mindfulness meditation. The study investigated the effects of a day of intensive mindfulness practice in a group of experienced meditators, compared to a group of untrained control subjects who engaged in quiet non-meditative activities. After eight hours of mindfulness practice, the meditators showed a range of genetic and molecular differences, including altered levels of gene-regulating machinery and reduced levels of pro-inflammatory genes, which in turn correlated with faster physical recovery from a stressful situation. "To the best of our knowledge, this is the first paper that shows rapid alterations in gene expression within subjects associated with mindfulness meditation practice," says study author Richard J. Davidson, founder of the Center for Investigating Healthy Minds and the William James and Vilas Professor of Psychology and Psychiatry at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. "Most interestingly, the changes were observed in genes that are the current targets of anti-inflammatory and analgesic drugs," says Perla Kaliman, first author of the article and a researcher at the Institute of Biomedical Research of Barcelona, Spain (IIBB-CSIC-IDIBAPS), where the molecular analyses were conducted. The study was published in the journal Psychoneuroendocrinology. Mindfulness-based trainings have shown beneficial effects on inflammatory disorders in prior clinical studies and are endorsed by the American Heart Association as a preventative intervention. The new results provide a possible biological mechanism for therapeutic effects. The results show a down-regulation of genes that have been implicated in inflammation. The affected genes include the pro-inflammatory genes RIPK2 and COX2 as well as several histone deacetylase (HDAC) genes, which regulate the activity of other genes epigenetically by removing a type of chemical tag. What's more, the extent to which some of those genes were downregulated was associated with faster cortisol recovery to a social stress test involving an impromptu speech and tasks requiring mental calculations performed in front of an audience and video camera. Perhaps surprisingly, the researchers say, there was no difference in the tested genes between the two groups of people at the start of the study. The observed effects were seen only in the meditators following mindfulness practice. In addition, several other DNA-modifying genes showed no differences between groups, suggesting that the mindfulness practice specifically affected certain regulatory pathways. However, it is important to note that the study was not designed to distinguish any effects of long-term meditation training from those of a single day of practice. Instead, the key result is that meditators experienced genetic changes following mindfulness practice that were not seen in the non-meditating group after other quiet activities — an outcome providing proof of principle that mindfulness practice can lead to epigenetic alterations of the genome. Previous studies in rodents and in people have shown dynamic epigenetic responses to physical stimuli such as stress, diet, or exercise within just a few hours. "Our genes are quite dynamic in their expression and these results suggest that the calmness of our mind can actually have a potential influence on their expression," Davidson says. "The regulation of HDACs and inflammatory pathways may represent some of the mechanisms underlying the therapeutic potential of mindfulness-based interventions," Kaliman says. "Our findings set the foundation for future studies to further assess meditation strategies for the treatment of chronic inflammatory conditions." Study funding came from National Center for Complementary and Alternative Medicine (grant number P01-AT004952) and grants from the Fetzer Institute, the John Templeton Foundation, and an anonymous donor to Davidson. The study was conducted at the Center for Investigating Healthy Minds at the UW-Madison Waisman Center. Life is eternal, you are alive, and therefore you too are eternal beings. There truly is no death. Yes, of course you lay down your illusory bodies as you leave the dream environment and return Home from your “travels,” but that is a glorious awakening into the brilliance of Reality. Your forthcoming human awakening or ascension is different because it will be a mass awakening in which you retain your bodies which are then restored to full vitality and perfection, with an age or physical appearance and abilities appropriate to it that suits your wishes.
In “A Course In Miracles” I talked of moving from the nightmare into a happy dream, and that is what is about to occur. Very many of you have been extremely dissatisfied with your earthly lives, and to move into a “Happy Dream” is the next stage on your journey back to Reality. You cannot move fully into Reality while holding on to any energies, attitudes, or beliefs that are not in complete alignment with our Source, God, our heavenly Father, Love.
The Happy Dream is a state where all that you could desire is there for you. There is no need or possibility to compete or to fight to obtain your “just deserts,” all your needs and wants are met without in the least inconveniencing or “short changing” anyone else. It is an environment in which you can learn to relax, release your fears and anxieties, and realize that you have no need of those negative aspects of yourselves. You will live there in joy, happily developing your infinite creative abilities thus giving pleasure to all.
It is very hard for you to imagine a world in which there is no conflict, no mistrust, no disappointment, only harmonious cooperation for the good of all – a “good” with which all can identify irrespective of their race, color, culture, or creed. From that joyful state, when you feel ready, you can move all the way Home to join us in the spiritual realms. But the state of being in this Happy Dream is very soothing, relaxing, even enchanting, and many of you will be in no hurry to move on. And that is just fine. God wants only your complete happiness, and seeing you in the Happy Dream enjoying yourselves gives Him enormous joy too.
This may sound to some of you like a change of plan, but I assure you that it is not. To describe in words the new environment into which you are about to be ushered is impossible. There is a very great difference between the Happy Dream and Reality, but from your human perspective or vantage point it is almost impossible for you differentiate between them purely because of the perspective limitations that your humanity imposes upon you. Consequently the Happy Dream will, for all of you, be a heavenly experience.
You will have no worries, no fears, no lack, in fact anything that you could imagine you might need to make you happy will be instantly at your disposal. But of course, because of your varied and harsh experiences in the illusion, it will take some time for you to adjust into a state of complete confidence in your safety and security. You have all experienced abandonment and the intense pain it caused you, to a greater or lesser extent, and so it will take time for you to release all the ingrained suspicion that suggests to you that it could happen again. I assure you that it will not, in fact it cannot, but you will need time to accept that this is true, that abandonment, suffering, or betrayal can never, ever happen to you again.
Over many Earth lives within the illusion you experienced abandonment and betrayal, rescue from abandonment and betrayal, and then further abandonment and betrayal, and so it is difficult for you to release all the ingrained pain and suspicion that those experiences brought to you. Many of you have helped with abandoned children – yes, there are still far, far too many of them on Earth right now, despite the enormous progress your collective has made in moving into Love – or pets, and so you are aware of how long it can take to rebuild their trust, and of how easily it can again be destroyed.
Well, in the state that is the Happy Dream, that breakdown of rebuilt trust and faith cannot recur. That trust and faith, that confidence that you are truly safe at last can only get stronger, it can never be weakened or destroyed. However, each of you will develop lasting trust at the pace that suits you best. No one will attempt to rush you, the pace of development that you choose will be wholly honored, always.
You are all intensely honored for what you have undergone during your many and varied Earth lives, and for the spiritual progress you have made in spite of all the obstacles, diversions, and general distractions that have frequently taken your attention away from the task in hand – Waking Up! The Love that surrounds you all is now making It’s inevitable and irresistible way into every human heart, and the effects of that are becoming ever more difficult to ignore or deny. It has been a long hard road, but the end is in sight.

As the Christmas and New Year holiday season approaches really focus on being peaceful, being compassionate, and being loving, as Jesus always was. He is your guiding Light, the Way, and the Path, and he demonstrated to you by his attitude and behavior how to follow It. Yes, all paths are individualized because you all have your own lessons to learn, no two are the same. Nevertheless, when you intend to live lovingly as Jesus did, and as you focus your attention on being loving like him much of the energy that you channel and share will be similar to his, and that is what is healing humanity and preparing it for the great shift in awareness, in consciousness, and in intent. That is why you are on Earth at this time, to enable humanity to shift away from conflict and mistrust and move towards Love. Remember every single one of you without exception channels energy constantly because you are all, always, conduits directly connected to the Source! Make it positive loving energy by holding only that intent.
Do not forget that spiritual energy is like electricity, it is abundantly available and powerful, but what you do with it, what you use it for is up to you. When you are unaware of your origins, of your spiritual heritage, it is very easy to choose to use it to serve your own egoic agendas. However, as all your egoic agendas are self-serving, its power becomes very diffused and misaligned when you do this, and it loses its effectiveness.
You have all forgotten or have lost access to the knowledge of the immense power that is yours, given to you by your Father so that, like Him, you can create, beautifully, wisely, intelligently, and perfectly! You are in the process of re-discovering your power and the knowledge of who You really are as you move towards the moment of your shift into Love. You are, as you have so often been told, Love incarnate. You cannot and could not be anything other than That because It is the ground of your being, the Essence from which you were created, It is your real Identity as sons and daughters of God, One with Him always. You are each individual aspects of His divine Perfection. To know and experience this is your destiny, your inescapable destiny, and that alone is reason for you to spend your lives rejoicing.
But of course, within the illusion, where that knowledge remains temporarily hidden from you, it is very difficult for you be aware of and accept the truth that your origin, that from which you were created is God Himself, and nothing less. You are of God, you are Aspects of His divine and indivisible Self, eternally One with Him, even though it seems to you that this could not be the case. While your awareness, your ability to understand and experience your existence as divine beings remains severely restricted by your human embodiment, it also remains practically impossible for you to accept emotionally or intellectually the reality of this eternal truth.
When you go within, to that quiet inner space from which you can access the spiritual realms, you do find some peace, some relief from the constant ongoing struggles with which the illusion seems to present you at all times. All those struggles are egoic delusions as you imagine yourselves individuated beings, separated from your divine Source, and in need of protection from the dangers that you believe threaten your very existence. Your egos encourage this belief, and then encourage you to defend yourselves by attacking others. You have been doing this for eons, but finally the truth has dawned, “defense and attack do not bring peace and safety,” they just escalate the sense of insecurity that envelops so many of you.
More and more of you are learning this daily, either by operating in war zones, or through dealing with police forces, security organizations, and even prison authorities. Whether you are on the side of authority or subjected to that authority it has become apparent that taking sides is divisive, and either leads to distrust or reinforces the distrust that is already present, and prevents peace from being established. It has become impossible to honestly deny the truth of that, and consequently many are now moving to change the rules so that opposing sides in disputes whether political, law enforcement, or even religious are being brought together in neutral environments where neither feels threatened so that new rules of engagement or disengagement can be formulated, tried, and, if found to be effective, be put into practice. Until you cease to deal violently with violence, violence will always remain an insoluble issue for you.
Amazing progress has been made in the last few decades of Earth time as growing numbers of intelligent people have come to the conclusion that for your continued survival on Earth new rules are essential. Their desire to bring peace and abundance to all on Earth has been welcomed in the spiritual realms, and we are “pulling out all the stops” to ensure that this developing wisdom is neither bypassed nor discarded.
Humanity has collectively made the choice and the decision to open to the Light that surrounds you, and to be guided by It instead of attempting to argue, by reason and logic of a very egoic nature, that to go with the Light will leave you open to destruction by those who would take your freedom from you. Non resistance has been tried many times on Earth in the last few decades to overcome oppression, and each time it has become even more successful. It is apparent to all that it works and that there is indeed no satisfactory alternative as all other methods to bring in essential change have failed because forcible enforcement always leads to violence and suffering that then demands restitution.
In spite of the violence that is being reported by your main stream media I can honestly tell you that across the world violence, that for eons has been endemic, is no longer the first choice of those who seek change and release from oppression. Change is occurring peacefully in many areas because the power of the field of Love enveloping you all is intensifying. Keep holding the intent for Love to enter all hearts, and keep intending that you yourselves always offer love regardless of the situations in which you find yourselves. By doing so you are most effectively creating Peace on Earth, and this is the season in which many of you intend to offer peace to your friends and loved ones – now make a point of including any enemies you may have in that intent, and change them into beloved friends.

Lifting the Veil, Pt.13

Beloved Ones,
Change continues to take place in every corner of your world. That which has been hidden continues to be exposed to the light of humanity’s awareness and discernment. All that was once kept from the masses can no longer be controlled and the dissemination of enlightening information flies through the airwaves across the planet in mere seconds. All manner of secret activities are coming up to be looked at with awareness and acknowledgment and this will continue to be so until all is transparent in all interactions between humans on their world. This enables each person to become better informed about the many activities that take place so that they can input their choice of how they wish their world and the workings of it to be conducted.
No longer will deception be tolerated and this will become increasingly clear to all who hope to continue in the old paradigm of keeping the masses ignorant of the behind the scenes activities that have been taking place upon the planet, for just as soon as secret agreements are made, they will be discovered and exposed. The times you are living in call for truth, fairness, justice and honor in all activities. The minds and hearts of all people upon the planet are bone weary of business as usual and grow impatient with those who are supposed to be serving the greater good of their own citizens. The wake up calls have been made in many different countries and have clearly demonstrated this to all who would deceive the people they are supposed to serve, you have but to read or listen to your daily newscasts to see that they are filled with such stories and information.
You are still in passage and walk between two worlds, the old and nearly crumbled systems, and the new Earth reality in a higher dimensional consciousness. It is difficult for many of you to realize the good that is occurring all around you as the focus is almost always on the happenings of the old ways of doing business on your planet. These are illusions that are quickly fading from human consciousness. In its place comes an earnest desire to take the high road in all activities between people, nations and world. There is a sense of urgency and anticipation that is tangibly felt in many individuals across the length and breadth of your planet. It is incumbent upon each individual to hold to the highest standards of conduct in all interactions as this will facilitate an exponential effect in all communications that take place.
The increase in the energy and light quotient relentlessly continues to effect changes and transformations in all facets of human existence. There is a great need for the healing of old wounds in many individuals and they seek to find the method to accomplish this. Many who have just awakened will seek answers to their many questions and to alleviate their fears, doubts and confusions. You who are the emerging masters of life upon a physical planet are now being placed in a position of elder brother or sister, perhaps not so much in years as in your sagacity. The light you hold becomes more easily discernible in the seekers and they will seek it.
As you have met your great challenges and responsibilities to the higher order of things, you have qualified for the role of guide and teacher to others in your sphere of influence and will soon step into your new roles with relish and great confidence, knowing that you have the wisdom within you to give assistance when and as needed. There has been much training taking place in the times your physical body sleeps and this will activate in divine timing. Remembrance of your mission will become more available to you in the days ahead.

Matters are moving on to their conclusion at such a rapid speed, that you need to keep an open mind and be prepared to ensure you go with the flow. Old beliefs are being shaken to the core and this is intentional and intended to bring you into the New Age. Many of them carry a degree of truth that was sufficient to enable your feet to be placed on the path to realisation, but they are no longer adequate for the massive changes that are taking place. The time rapidly approaches when you will be given the opportunity to raise your vibrations to such a level, that eventually only the truth will exist. You are already on that path to total enlightenment, and much help is being given to ensure you have every opportunity to complete your Ascension.

So much is going on around you that you may well find it confusing, but providing you follow your intuition and look within you will have the answers. As always be discerning and know that messages of Light and Love have a special feel about them, and will never carry the lower vibrations associated with negativity. The period you are entering is already of a higher vibration than you experienced a relatively short time ago. Time continues to speed up and it is your proof of the higher level of vibrations that you now reside in. The more you centre yourself and focus on your Light, the more you will be prepared for the ongoing increase in vibrations that are destined to lift you out of duality.

Do not be distracted by the turmoil that inevitably results from the massive changes that are taking place. Energies of a low vibration that have no place in the New Age can no longer be sustained. They will lose their ability to remain along with the higher vibrations that are being established, and stay in the Third Dimension. Ascension will be the culmination of all of the changes occurring, and is the final outcome for those who have lifted their vibrations into the higher dimensions. You are being given the opportunity to permanently leave the cycle of rebirth, and it is a unique time that comes with the closing of the present cycle.

Where in the past you have played your roles that have created and sustained separation, that epoch has finished and is being played out to its conclusion. You have always been One with each other although often you have played roles that have put you in opposition. That was to speed up your evolution through the experience gained, and as a result it is now proceeding even quicker as the Light grows in its intensity. Those who have already progressed are also helping others who follow in their footsteps, in the same way that you are being helped now. In your Solar System you are the last ones who wait to achieve Ascension, and you will continue to receive immense help until every soul has done so.

The dark Ones are in a state of panic and trying by all means to prevent the inevitable end of their rule. It will be to no avail so there is no need for concern, and we would ask that you concentrate on bringing through the Light. The more you can apply yourselves to achieving your aims, the quicker events will move on. It will enable the first official announcement to be made by President Obama acknowledging the existence and contact with our Space Friends. It will result in open discussion and awareness of them, and agreement to negotiate the protocol that will allow open contact to be made. From there the whole subject will enter the public domain never again to be hidden from view.

So we ask you to stay within the Light at all times, and do not be distracted by anything that is clearly not of it. For a very long time the truth of your being has been held back from you, but very soon it will be known. It will speed up your progress and without the interference of the dark Ones it will soon reach higher levels than at any time since this cycle commenced. At the end of a cycle there is much sorting out and each soul is given every opportunity to move into their highest level of being. Since in reality there is no such thing as time, everything is in the now and there is no need to worry about another souls progress. Each soul has an infinite amount of "time" in which to complete their journey home. All happens in perfect relationship to all else in accordance with God's plan for Man.

Be assured many souls travel with you on your journeys and you are never alone. They are your helpers and guides to give you every assistance and enable you to successfully reach your goals. You will find that it is always the more evolved Beings that reach down to help those following in their footsteps. However, they do not impose themselves upon you, but will always respond to your calls for help. It is necessary to bear in mind that you do not always get what you call for, as your life plan is known to them and in accordance with it the most appropriate action is taken. They will gently and wisely point you in the right direction and celebrate with you when you have achieved your life's plan.

Keep your eyes straight ahead and know that in real terms there is little time left to complete your life plan, but many souls are doing their best to ensure you are successful. They are always with you and share your hopes and aspirations, and help you on your journey back to the Light. Your freewill is most valued and important, and must be handled with care if you are one who is destined to ascend at the end of this cycle.

humanity. You may call upon my energies to aid you in understanding and deciphering the will of the Creator for your

own being, reality and purpose upon the Earth. I am here to be of service, I am already assisting you in receiving the

divine will of the Creator but you may call upon my energies to aid you in truly understanding the guidance and insights

that flow to you and activate from within you always.

I ask in this moment that you allow my energies and the vibration of the first ray of light to flow down into your soul star

chakra above your head activating the divine will of your soul to step forth and illuminate your entire being. Let the light

flow into your crown chakra and throughout your entire chakra column finally entering into your earth star chakra below

your feet thus allowing the divine will of the Creator and your soul to be present and in action within your entire being,

grounded especially into the physical level of your being and reality. As you breathe the divine will repeatedly through

your chakras from top to bottom allow the energy to fill your entire being, emanating into your auric field and beyond.

You may wish to notice the energies, emotions or thoughts the divine will of your soul and the Creator stirs from within

your being. Understanding how you react to the divine will of the Creator and your soul will offer insights of self-

realisation maybe also offer insights as to how you block or hinder the divine will in flowing through your being as well

as ways in which you can understand the guidance more clearly.

With practice and experience of the divine flow of the will of the Creator and soul slowly moving through your being you

may then wish to hold the understanding that when the divine will of the Creator is present illusions of any form whether

created by you, others or through generations can no longer exist. Illusions begin to unravel allowing the truth of the

Creator, your soul and entire being to be seen with greater clarity and ease. Imagine that from every aspects of your

being and chakras you emanate the glowing light of the divine will of the Creator and your soul into your reality and

surroundings. Hold the intention and the knowingness that through this process you are unravelling, removing and

dispersing all illusions, imagining clarity forming within all aspects of your being.

Existing in a physical reality there can be less remembrance of the Creator and so many beliefs are created from past

experiences and the advice or opinion of others, rather than flowing from the Creator. The Creator can be recognised

within your being through your intuition, inner knowing and inner presence. When you are in contact with your intuition,

inner knowing and inner presence you are able to project truth from within your being from the Creator. The truth of the

Creator may be unlike anything else you have previously discovered and accepted but it will come forth in a way that

you are able to comprehend whatever your level of awareness of the truth of the Creator. Each person can also

interpret the truth of the Creator in different ways, both are appropriate for the individual and do not require any

judgment from others. Sometimes illusions within your reality are beliefs or perspectives that you have built your reality

upon and therefore feel supported by the illusions. To see through your illusions can then be a powerful process that

alters your reality, perspective, awareness and beliefs completely. This process can occur instantly or over a gradually

period of time but ultimately brings greater love, bliss, peace and joy into your reality. Simply connecting with, aligning

or understanding the truth of the Creator allows your soul to be awake and vibrant within your being improving the

health and vitality of your entire being. The practice of allowing the divine will of your soul and the Creator to flow

through your being, emanating the energy outwards with the intention of dissolving all illusions will encourage the

Creator to be in action and flow into your entire being and reality with your greater awareness. It is a powerful tool to

practice over a period of time purifying and energising your being and reality.

When illusions come evident to you, they can be laughed at or cast aside, with recognition, there is no need to hold on

to the illusion but to let it go creating a space for truth to emerge. With more space for truth to blossom within your

being you will notice the same is projected into your reality. Peace will emerge within your reality and many things or

situations that acted as a distraction will disperse leaving time to appreciate the truth and presence of the Creator

more fully. While there may always be some form of illusion present that you may be holding onto, this is due to the fact

that we move through numerous levels of realisation of the Creator, you may find that recognising illusion becomes

easier, as you are recognising that which doesn’t resonate with the divine will of your soul and the Creator.

Moving beyond illusion is an illusion in itself because all that is the truth and will of the Creator already exists within your

being with the only need of being recognised and consciously acknowledged by you. When we do move away from

attachments to illusions we are then faced with the will, light, love and truth of the divine Creator. Embodiment and

expressing of the Creator through your being and reality actually allows you to exist as the truth of the Creator within

your being, therefore ensuring your alignment and connection with the Creator while allowing the wisdom of the Creator

to unfold through your intuition. In truth when you move beyond illusion you move into acceptance of the divine will of the

Creator and your soul. With this manifestation the possibilities, opportunities and potentials of experiencing the

Creator are enhanced tremendously. Not only are you experiencing all that is the Creator within you but also around

you. Gradually guided by your soul you move into oneness with all that is the Creator, a deep and absolute unity which

is ever growing and present.

Rather than seeking illusion within your reality in order to erase it, you may wish to work with the first ray of light and my

energies, Master El Morya, to bring forth a greater realisation and awareness of the divine will of your soul and the

Creator within your being and reality. Through recognition of the divine will you will naturally erase illusions often

without realising. If illusions are challenged then you will be so in contact and connected to the divine will of the Creator

that it will share with you pristine clarity to bring forth illumination and enlightenment upon any situation or belief.

Many illusions are focused upon lack, limitations and fear while the truth of the Creator is often focused upon love,

empowerment and expansion.

Even calling upon the first ray of light to surround you with the divine will of the Creator throughout your day will allow for

you to recognise the divine will of the Creator within your being as the energy surrounding you acts as a mirror to the

vibrations deep within your being. The presence of the divine will of your soul and the Creator will allow for much

suffering and pain to be dissolved supporting the manifestation of the Era of Love within your being and reality. Please

know that I, Master El Morya, am here to assist and support you as you move through numerous processes of shifts.

The first ray of light will also offer to you courage to walk as your truth; the divine will of the Creator and your soul upon

the Earth.

Remember that it is not for you to impose your interpretation of the divine will of the Creator and your soul upon others

but to allow it to integrate and weave throughout your reality bringing forth greater experiences of the Creator within and

around your being.
