The Magical Mind Belt

The Mind Belt is an atmosphere of mental and emotional energies which encircles the globe. Although people are usually not consciously telepathic, our subconscious and superconscious minds are fully attuned to the mind belt.

We continuously receive information on how the mass of other people are thinking, then we create our own thoughts and feelings and share them with the mind belt. When we think higher thoughts of a spiritual nature, our contributions to the mind belt raise its frequency, helping to uplift others in a powerful way.

New ideas spread to other people via the mind belt. For example, when I wrote the book, The Shift: The Revolution in Human Consciousness in 2005, it was very much a new idea. At the time, the most common use of the term “shift” was for a particular style of women’s dresses! Today, it’s amazing how widespread the term The Shift has become in the context of the rise in human consciousness. It was a term that was destined to be and my book helped perpetuate the concept over the years.

Spiritual people are a small portion of the population, so you may wonder how much we can improve the mind belt in a world constantly affected by downbeat thinking. The answer may surprise you.

The Creator stacked the cards in favor of spiritual evolution.

As a spiritually-minded person, your higher-frequency thoughts have exponentially more power and influence than thoughts of a lower frequency. By definition, at least 80% of the population has an average effect upon the mind belt. You, as a lightworker, have a frequency advantage which empowers your influence in the world far more than you may have realized.

Researcher David R. Hawkins (1927-2012) spent years investigating the effects of the whole frequency range of human consciousness and came up with an amazing discovery. As a spiritually-aware person, the influence of your consciousness is equivalent to that of hundreds of thousands of statistically-average people! This surprising fact presents us with an incredible opportunity to help others and make a very positive difference in the world.

On the Hawkins Scale of Consciousness, the actual figure was that a person’s consciousness at the entry level to spiritual awareness counter-balances and lifts up the effect of the thoughts of 800,000 people of average consciousness around the world!

Imagine what happens when you go beyond the entry level and spend some time every day working on your own spiritual growth. Before you know it, you’re helping to uplift tens of millions of people and making the world a distinctly better place than it would have been without the benefit of your presence.

As you raise your consciousness, you contribute exponentially more to the spiritual quality of the global mind.

Paradoxically, your greatest service to humanity is to focus first upon your own spiritual growth.

This wonderful level of service to humanity occurs as a direct effect of your consciousness upon a world which has been starved of spiritually-conditioned thought. It’s like the analogy of a candle making a big difference in a dark room except, in this case, it’s more like a bright lantern, not a candle.

Make the world a better place

If you haven’t already done so, make a decision to develop your spiritual growth on a daily basis. Begin each day with a spiritual practice, such as sacred meditation or contemplations on The Twelve Graces: Gifts From God, and that uplifting habit will soon become the highlight of each day.

The side effect of bringing upliftment to thousands and even millions of other people fulfills a key life purpose of every spiritually-minded person on the planet today.

We were born to make the world a better place. Let’s do it!

The Soul of the Chrysalis

Source: Catherine Viel

Creativity-means-making-something-for-the-soul-out-of-every-experience.

I periodically cycle through this thought process: You want to live peacefully alone and just enjoy life. But isn’t that a smidge beyond self-care and into selfish? All you want to do is plant flowers and Feng Shui the house, and not even hold Reiki or writing workshops in your spiffed-up, solitary home. How does isolationism benefit anyone?

The thoughts are familiar, but the experience broke from the usual pattern. It didn’t last for days. I wasn’t sucked into a quagmire of either trying to justify my preferences, or talking myself out of what I know I want in order to serve the imaginary good of others.

One of the ways I defuse uncertainty is to imagine a contented and fulfilling future life. Yesterday, after starting along one such daydreaming path, the inevitable chiding of “You can’t just have fun and do nothing useful with your life” popped up, a sly target in the funhouse shooting gallery at the Nightmare Fair. Somehow, that train of thought did not gain its usual traction. I observed it, but did not hop on for a ride.

Somewhere along the line an emotional muscle has gained strength, a muscle that firmly pulled me away from self-defeating inner sniping. The next place that emotional muscle might haul me is, “Drop this whole dialogue and jump into ‘how does the life I want look?'” without a detour into “Really, it’s okay to want what I want.”

If the subconscious, persistent programming hasn’t dissolved with a nudge from rising planetary vibrations, or through years of emotional excavating, I can get conscious about it and ask it to happen. Ask to let go of the remnants of whatever is in me that insists that I can’t have what I want. Or, worse, I shouldn’t want it.

My mental peregrinations on this topic have never reached that point. I usually get as far as it’s okay to want what I want before abandoning the attempt to change my own mind. It hasn’t occurred to me to just dump that entire line of thought and ask myself to be rid of such ancient inner and outer training. Jump straight into the way I want to be, never mind how I don’t want to be—to borrow a page from the Manifestation 101 handbook.

Embedded in me is the knowing of my own value and my own human deservingness. I don’t need to earn the right to happiness; I already have it. It’s up to me to give the being within the chrysalis a little nudge, poke a couple of holes in that webby enclosure, and climb out of the old lifestage.

I bring the old with me into the new, but in a way that has been so transformed there are only a few fragments of what used to be in what is now. The soul of the chrysalis rejoices in its new carrier. And even though I’m not there yet, I can see myself as the free, winged creature basking in the light, loving the chrysalis-that-was even as I leave it.
