Ignore Kiova, ignore Kharkov, ignore the rest of Ukraine - THIS is an important part, here the fight is happening: Eastern Ukraine - the path of suppressed hatred - around Kramatorsk.

There are 60,000 fighters here. They have no chance to get more power or reinforcements, and they've run out of gas. When these are neutralized (in one way or another), everything else in Ukraine falls and the war ends.
